DRC – Protection Cluster Co-Coordinator

Danish Refugee Council is recruiting a Protection Cluster Co-Coordinator in Khartoum, with regular field travel. The one-year international contract may be extended; the expected start is December 2026.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate protection priorities with UNHCR and humanitarian partners.
• Develop strategy, protection analysis and collective advocacy.
• Strengthen local participation, information management and partner capacity.

Requirements

• Postgraduate qualification in international law, social sciences, humanitarian studies or a related field.
• At least three years of humanitarian protection experience in complex emergencies.
• Substantial inter-agency coordination and protection-analysis experience.
• Advanced English; Arabic is strongly desirable.
