DRC – WASH & Infrastructure Coordinator

Danish Refugee Council is recruiting a WASH & Infrastructure Coordinator in Khartoum, with regular field travel. This is a one-year international contract, potentially renewable, starting in December 2026.

Responsibilities

• Guide WASH strategy, engineering standards and infrastructure quality.
• Review designs, specifications and bills of quantities.
• Support proposals, reporting, coordination and staff development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, water or environmental engineering; a relevant master’s is desirable.
• At least five years of WASH experience, including three in technical advice or coordination.
• Experience in complex emergencies and strong engineering skills.
• Proficient English; Arabic is desirable.
