Procurement Logistics Officer

Petra Engineering Industries Co., a company specializing in the design and manufacturing of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, is looking for a Procurement Logistics Officer to support its procurement, logistics and supply-chain operations.

The role involves coordinating international shipments, monitoring purchase orders and shipping documentation, and supporting the efficient movement of materials by sea, air and land.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate shipments and follow materials from the supplier through to final delivery
• Work with freight forwarders on sea, air and land shipments from international suppliers
• Support improvements to inbound logistics processes and practices
• Assist in planning and managing supply-chain activities within the wider business operations
• Review shipping documents related to purchase orders and prepare them for customs clearance procedures
• Monitor purchase-order schedules and ensure appropriate follow-up
• Obtain regular updates on outstanding and open purchase orders
• Coordinate with relevant teams and logistics partners to ensure timely movement of materials

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or a related field
• Good understanding of logistics and supply-chain processes
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
• General knowledge of ERP systems
• Strong planning, organization and prioritization skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Very good command of written and spoken English
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
