NRC — Humanitarian Access and Safety Officer Sudan - Nationals Only

NRC is recruiting a Humanitarian Access and Safety Officer in Khartoum. The role is open to Sudanese nationals and includes field presence in Port Sudan and other areas as required.

Responsibilities

• Support safety policies, contingency plans and humanitarian access procedures.
• Assist security risk assessments, staff briefings and safety training.
• Monitor movements and incidents and liaise with communities, authorities and humanitarian partners.

Requirements

• At least two years of relevant humanitarian or development experience.
• Knowledge of humanitarian principles, NGO safety, risk management and humanitarian access.
• Experience working in complex contexts and liaising with communities, authorities and NGOs.
• MS Office skills and working proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
