Yenching Academy of Peking University – 2027 Yenching Scholars

Yenching Academy invites international applicants to its interdisciplinary China Studies programme. The fellowship covers tuition, accommodation, a monthly stipend, one return journey and field study costs.

Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in any subject by August of the entry year, an excellent academic record, English proficiency, interest in China and evidence of leadership or community engagement. International candidates must hold a non-Chinese passport. Students and alumni of partner universities must first follow their university’s internal selection process.

Prepare your CV, personal statement, research-interest statement, transcripts, degree or enrolment certificate, two academic references and any required English test results. Read the official test requirements and exemptions before applying. Applicants cannot remain enrolled in another degree during their Peking University studies.
